Our Story
The award-winning Brooks & Brooks team are one of the most dynamic teams in British hairdressing. Led by owners Sally Brooks and Jamie Brooks, this central London salon is a mecca for passion, education and creativity.
Beginning their careers at Trevor Sorbie and working their way up to artistic directors they opened their own salon in the well known and artesian Sicilian Avenue in Holborn in 2003, quickly gaining recognition winning London Hairdresser of the year 3 times Brooks and Brooks quickly became one of the leading names in the hair world. Educating globally Brooks and Brooks are known for their innovation on the hairdressing scene and promoting British hairdressing at the highest level.
Sally has won British hairdresser of the year a record 3 times and the team leads the way for the number of industry recognitions with an incredible 35 industry awards, the company has always attracted the leading hairdressers.
In 2019 Sally wrote and produced a documentary about the hairdressing industry which was released in 2019. The Journey To My Destination which is available on DVD and Amazon Prime Video – it showcases the incredible opportunities this industry has to offer and is shown in many training academies across the world.
This duo and their team are highly regarded amongst the top hairdressers in London, continuing to inspire and lead with their love of the craft and the industry, continuing to train and motivate their team to deliver the highest quality of service and skills to their clients.
